TAA operates its seaplane tours from the Hobart waterfront with two DeHavilland DHC-2 Beavers, the most widely used commercial seaplane in the world. The Beaver is a Canadian-built aircraft and is perfect accessing for Tasmania’s wilderness areas.
Both of our aircraft seat six passengers and are fitted with a comfortable interior and noise-cancelling communication systems to allow for interpretation from your pilot.
Access to the seaplanes from our seaplane dock in Hobart is via small non-slip steps.
One of TAA’s seaplanes is an amphibious seaplane, allowing for on-water and on-land operations. This seaplane is available for airport transfers to many of Tasmania’s iconic destinations.
