Your Float Endorsement Instructor

Chief Pilot, Jethro Nelson

Your instructor for your Float Endorsement is TAA Chief Pilot Jethro Nelson, a former Royal Air Force fighter pilot. Jethro flew and instructed on Tornado GR4 and Hawk T1A jets during his RAF career, and was the Central Flying School’s Examiner for the Tornado. He moved into the wonderful world of floatplanes in 2006, flying floats in Scotland, Canada, Europe, the Kimberley and now in Tasmania. Jethro instructed floatplane flying in Scotland, introducing many private and commercial pilots to the freedom and fun offered by this unique type of flying, before coming to Australia to fly floatplanes commercially.
